Aloha! I used to live in Hawaiʻi and have always hoped to return someday. I’m not sure exactly when the timing will be right, but I wanted to start browsing and putting some feelers out in case the right opportunity comes along. I’m a nurse by background — I previously worked as a traveling ICU nurse but stepped away from hospital work to focus more on wellness and prevention. That shift came with a pretty big pay cut, but it’s work that feels much more meaningful and aligned with how I want to practice healthcare. Currently I work in patient homes on the mainland administering biologic therapies for people with chronic illnesses. When I eventually move back to Oʻahu, I’d be looking for similar work in home health or wellness-focused care. I really value the culture, sense of community, and lifestyle in Hawaiʻi and have a lot of respect for the islands and the people who call them home. Having lived there before, I understand the importance of mālama ʻāina and being mindful of the community. Outside of work I’m pretty low-key and easygoing. I enjoy the ocean, being outdoors, staying active, and living a healthy lifestyle. I’m clean, respectful, financially responsible, and tend to keep a peaceful home environment. Ideally I’d be looking for a simple place with the necessities rather than anything luxury — just a calm, respectful home base. Right now I’m just browsing and putting out feelers, but if the right situation came up I’d definitely be open to it. Happy to connect and talk story. Mahalo 🌺
