Hi there!
My current roommate is moving for work, which means I have ba available in east Petaluma. I’m looking for someone to renew the lease with me, which means you’ll need to be able to provide proof of income, credit check, etc for the complex. The apartment has a pool, gym, lounge, outdoor seating and grill area on and is smoke-free & pretty quiet. We’re minutes either way from Henhouse or downtown.
Your part of rent would be $+half of the electric bill (water, sewage, trash, WiFi included in rent), & $ parking fee if you want to park on (there’s plenty of free street parking). Move in date is flexible, Jan .
The apartment is split into two separate suites & includes laundry in the unit. While the available bedroom is smaller (’- it can still fit a queen bed, dresser, etc), it does have a balcony & private bath attached. Laundry is in my bathroom, & my balcony is off the shared living room. The shared living areas are a fully equipped kitchen & living/dining area. Both are furnished, but if you have something you’d like to add, I’m happy to try and figure it out! Bedroom is unfurnished.
A senior Great Dane already lives here & has a permanent spot on the couch, so must love dogs and also not come with any pets. He's a % good boy, but not really into sharing space with other animals at his age, which I respect.
Ideally, I’m looking for someone at about the same stage of life that I am- I enjoy having company occasionally, & I don’t care if you have guests. I like meeting new people, but my job can also be socially exhausting and I want home to be somewhere calm, safe, and clean.
Most of my social activities happen out of the house when the weather is nice.
I believe in open communication and would like scheduled, weekly conversations about living expectations as we get to know each other.
I’m happy to provide references from former roommates, it would be great if you could, as well.
