I am moving for work and in search of someone to take my room, either short term to finish out my lease ending Feb , or for long-term lease renewal.

Apartment is in a complex in San Mateo (), near the Marina asian supermarket and Whole Foods, right off freeways . Corner unit with a size-able balcony, fully equipped kitchen, separate bathrooms, in-unit laundry. Community pool, hot-tub, mail room (never lost a package in >1yr living here), fitness center (very small), excellent property management company is always responsive (a rare gem IMO). Complex is along the foster city lagoons, which makes for nice post-lunch walks to stretch your legs. Not sure square footage, but can measure upon request. Bedroom not furnished by default but this can be negotiated. Sorry for the potato-quality photos; videos can be requested on-request.

Candidates will also need to get along with my current/former roommate, who is mid-s, works in tech, hybrid work, Indian went to undergrad+grad school in US. He is extremely friendly and considerate, and a very respectful, quiet, clean roommate. We play casual badminton and board games on weekends. Candidates should be well educated to maximize chances of roommate compatibility.

Rent ~$/mo per person, negotiable. Individuals only (non-negotiable).
