Hi! I’m Laura, an Italian PhD student coming to Cape Town from October to December 2026 for a visiting research period at UCT. I’m 31 and I’m looking for a friendly and comfortable place to call home during my three months in Cape Town. I’m easy-going, respectful and tidy, and I enjoy living with other people while also respecting everyone’s privacy and personal space. I’d be happy to join a house with a relaxed and sociable atmosphere, where housemates can occasionally spend time together, have a chat or share a meal, while still having their own routines and independence. Since I’ll be new to Cape Town, it would also be nice to live with people I can get to know during my stay. I’ll mainly be at UCT during the week for my research, so I’m looking for a peaceful and welcoming home to come back to.
