I'm looking for a responsible, respectful roommate to take over the second bedroom in my 2 bed/2 bath apartment. My current roommate is moving out, and I will be selecting someone to assume their portion of the lease. About the space: Master bedroom with a large closet
Private bathroom
Base rent: $1,300/month
Utilities: typically $60–$115/month (After splitting)
Electricity: typically $70–$150/month (After splitting)
Wi-Fi: $35/month (After splitting)

I value a quiet, clean, and respectful living environment with open, consistent communication. I don't host many guests and appreciate roommates who share a similar lifestyle. I have a cat whose safety is my highest priority. He is prone to chewing on toxic foods, plants, sharp objects, and other hazardous items if they're left accessible. Because of this, I need a roommate who is conscientious about keeping shared spaces free of potential hazards. If you're naturally mindful and tidy in common areas, we'll likely be a great fit. Your room is your private space, and I will never enter it without your permission except in the event of a genuine emergency. The property is strictly smoke-free and drug-free (including vaping). While I don't personally judge these choices, property management enforces these rules very strictly, and I expect any roommate to respect the lease requirements. I'm open to roommates of any age, gender identity, or religious background. More important to me are reliability, emotional maturity, accountability, and good communication. Previous experience living with roommates is strongly preferred. Because compatibility is important, I'd like to meet 1–3 times before making a final decision. Please note that I have a severe dog allergy that causes hives and breathing difficulties, so I cannot live with dogs.
