In Search of a Roommate

My fiancé and I (32 & 26) are looking for a working professional/grad student around our ages to fill the primary bedroom in our apartment. This apartment is the perfect location if you work at UCSD, UTC mall or any other surrounding businesses! We currently occupy the other bedroom & loft space. The common space is completely furnished as I’ve lived in this spot for 5 years now, we welcome you bringing in items to decorate the space and make it feel like home! We would prefer to have another female roommate move in but are open to people of all genders so long as this seems like the right fit for you! We enjoy a chill environment that sometimes include board game nights, RuPaul watch parties, Mario kart battles, making dinner at home, and taking walks in the neighborhood. I’m a big believer in being roommates first by establishing boundaries, talking out any disagreements and letting a friendship build on top of that foundation! A schedule has been established for taking out the trash, cleaning the kitchen counters/floor, doing fridge clean outs to prevent overcrowding and running the robot vacuum. We value keeping the common space clean for everyone to comfortably enjoy. We welcome having friends over so long as everyone is given a heads up that we will have company and that they are respectful of the space and the community’s mandated quiet hours. We are a lesbian couple so it is important that if you are applying to move into our space that you are comfortable with queer folks as well as our two cats. Approximate utilities including SDGE, internet, trash/sewage monthly: $150 each NOTE: Must be LGBTQ+ friendly & comfortable living with 2 cats. No additional animals allowed in our unit.
