interested in renting a 2-3 bedroom duplex from a private owner or from an agent that will work with my background issues. I will talk privately to whomever is renting.. I am a veteran and I am in a program through the VA called SSVF. It is not a housing voucher, it is a short term program that allows and helps veterans get reestablished after a hardship such as DV. The program covers all move in costs and the rent for a few months after which the veteran is responsible to pay the rent for the remainder of the lease.
