In Concord on a double lot with 2 houses with separate small dog, cat, and waterfowl sanctuary.

So do you like animals — hope so — cuz I often refer to this place as “country livin’ in the middle of the city”! Like a cabin in Tahoe! And someone looking for “a pink stucco concreted around apartment” just wouldn’t be happy here cuz there are trees and dirt under your feet. And animals? Plenty of them!

The geese and ducks yak at each other, the small dogs and elderly cats do the same — well, I’m sure you get the idea.

Your room would be in a house with a bedroom on each end. They’re separated by the Great Room, which is an open area containing the kitchen, dining room, and living room — all covered by an A-frame ceiling and loft.

There are 2 big windows and a slider overlooking the pool, which has been taken over and “naturalized” by the wild mallard ducks who fly in for breakfast and dinner here. But the chihuahuas and the cocker get the pool area in the evening.

This is a Pet Friendly place; but we are full up on pets right now because you share your house with a roommate who has a cat. There are cats over in the other house too, but the dogs are the owner’s and are kinda isolated.

You would have your own private entrance and your own bathroom. You would share only the shower with your roommate in the back cuz she has her own attached half bath — how cool is that, eh?
Your bedroom can be furnished or not, but the rest of the house is fully furnished. The rent includes all utilities (water, gas, electricity, and trash), free laundry, free off-street parking, free cable TV, and free internet. You would be near a major bus route and only a mile from the Concord BART station! Come and take a look!
