Hey everyone! One of our roommates is moving out of country soon so we are looking to fill a spot in our house in Lakewood. Would love to find someone we can be friends with vs just roommates! About the space:
• Rent: $1,025 + utilities
• Sept 1 move in
• 4B/2.5B house just south of Belmar in Lakewood
• Two rooms available, but seeking one roommate. Great for someone who works from home and needs an office space!
• Semi-private bathroom (shared shower)
• Garage, AC, finished basement with plenty of storage • Large corner lot backyard with covered patio
• Quick 15 minute drive to downtown or the mountains
• 5-10 minute walk to Lakewood Link Rec Center - we have a household membership that you’re welcome to join About us:
• We are two working professional women. My roommate (Sarah, 33F) works from home in tech/insurance, I (Megan, 28F) work downtown in healthcare
• Queer-friendly, 420 friendly • We enjoy spending time outside hiking, paddle boarding, skiing, etc. We also enjoy reading, watching shows/films, crafting, going to concerts and out for the occasional drink, etc.
• We like to keep the common spaces clean and trade off on household tasks • My roommate has a 4y0 shepherd/husky mix, lease allows for one more dog (must be service animal or ESA). The dog can be reactive, but warms up to new people and dogs after a few meets. She loves to play and is so cuddly and affectionate. She currently lives with another female dog her size; they became fast friends through a roommate search just like this! (the roommate that is moving out). Safety - thresholds, recall - and obedience training are a priority. She has a prey drive, so this may not be the best situation for someone with small dogs, cats, or uncaged animals.
