Hi everyone! We’re looking for a third roommate for our 3 bed, 2 bath first-floor apartment in Spring Garden. Our original roommate’s plans fell through, so we’re hoping to find someone who’s a great fit. The room is available starting August 1, but we’re a little flexible with the move-in date. The apartment is in a great location—about a 10-minute walk (3 blocks) from the Broad Street Line, with the 33 and 2 bus routes both within a 5-minute walk. We’re also within walking distance of Target, Giant, Aldi, and Whole Foods (all about 15 minutes or less), and we’re about a 10-minute walk from Eastern State Penitentiary. Rent is $700 per month, water is included, and utilities average around $100 per person each month. This is a sublease, and we’re able to offer either a 5-month lease (August through December) or a 1-year lease (August through July). First month’s rent, last month’s rent, and a security deposit are due before move-in. The available bedroom is on the upper floor, it has a closet, large windows, and comes with a free dresser. The bathroom is shared with one roommate. We are looking for someone who tries to stay on top of chores and keep shared spaces tidy, while also understanding that life gets busy sometimes. We value open communication, flexibility, and giving each other a little grace when things don’t get done right away.
