Room for rent in a quiet neighbourhood in Blackburn South. House is meant for three people. You'll have your own room on the second floor, but will have to share the bathroom with another person (image attached). Room comes furnished with a double bed, large bookshelf, new table, chair and lamp. We have a large first floor with a fully stocked kitchen (fridge and freezer) and a separate studying area for use if wanted. The property is close to two different shopping centres (5 mins by bus) and close by to both Box Hill and Blackburn railway stations as well (15 mins by bus). There's a park just a 3 mins walk away as well for sunny days. The Burwood campus for Deakin is approx. 30 mins away by ptv. Bills excluded, split evenly whenever the notice comes, unless there's a large discrepancy because of personal use. No smokers or pets, please. Bond is 4 weeks' rent and minimum stay is 4 months. You'll need to give 2 weeks notice when you leave, but there's no maximum stay period. You'll have to sign an agreement when you move in and minor details can be negotiated.
