Rentals in/around Lansing(34F)?

Hi, I am looking for rentals in and around Lansing. I am needing to move back to the state, and the rental market is a nightmare. It's just me and my 16yo cat, Kiara. The worst she does is meow gor attention sometimes, she's very sweet. I'm a vlean person, I don't leave messes, I don't get in your space or tell you what to do. I have no criminal history, my credit is 650+, i've never been evicted, as close as I have come. Just looking for a place that's safe for me and my old girl.
