Why do I have to pay to see messags

Hi there,
My name is Nicole. I’m and looking to rent a room as soon as possible. My budget is up to $ per month.
I’m a quiet, non-smoking, non-drinking adult with steady income. I’m autistic and ADHD, very routine-oriented, respectful of shared spaces, and tend to keep to myself. I don't have frequent guest over or throw parties. I value calm, clear communication and a stable home environment.
I do have three dogs, all under lbs. They are house-trained, kept up to date on grooming and vaccinations, and I’m very diligent about cleanup and care.
They are vocal and will bark at movement/noises, so this would be best suited to a dog-tolerant or pet-experienced household.
One of my dogs (Icarus) is fear-reactive, so I manage him carefully — he is supervised, securely handled, and not allowed to interact freely with strangers or other pets. Because of this, I’m looking for a home where boundaries can be respected and expectations are clear. I’m happy to discuss how I manage this responsibly.
I’m open to discussing pet rules, deposits, or accommodations to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. I may also qualify for IHSS, if that’s of interest to the household. I work a part time job, currently graveyard shift.
