Looking to Rent when lease is up

Description

My girlfriend and I are looking to move and rent once our current lease is up in a few months. We are quiet, responsible, and just trying to build a stable life together. I do want to be upfront that I have a felony on my background from a dumb mistake I made as a teenager. I have taken full responsibility, faced the consequences, and have never been in trouble before or since. Unfortunately, it has made it very hard to move forward despite doing everything right. I’m not a bad person, just someone asking for a fair chance.
