Hi, my name is Jeff. I am a retired journalist and schoolteacher looking for a roommate in the 3-bedroom house near Ladera Elementary in north Farmington where I've lived for 5 years. Available immediately. Your bedroom is the master bedroom with attached private bathroom, an adjacent sunroom accessed through a sliding-glass door, a walk-in closet and a second closet. Your bedroom is unfurnished; rest of house is partially furnished with a fully furnished kitchen (there is extra cupboard space for anything you want to add), laundry facilities, and Internet. House includes large living room with high ceiling, dining area adjacent to kitchen/behind living room, and a large family room. The family room is mostly empty, so you could add furniture there if you wish. Ceiling fans in bedrooms and living room. Off-street parking. Nice neighborhood and park nearby. Your share of the rent will be $775 per month plus utilities (gas, electricity, water, trash, WiFi over the past year have averaged $165/month apiece with a high of $206 in winter). House is cooled by swamp cooler with gas heat. I’m looking for one housemate – no couples, kids, families – who shares regular cleaning of shared spaces and keeps a tidy kitchen, helps with property upkeep (minimal) and respects privacy.
