Hi, my name is Emma. I am a 28-year-old professional and I just moved from Italy to St. Louis. I will be working at Washington University (WashU) as a Visiting Researcher for the next year. I am currently looking for a room or apartment to rent in St. Louis, ideally to share with other professionals or students. My budget is around $1000 per month, and I am available to move in starting July 1st. I would describe myself as a quiet, clean, and respectful person, but also friendly and easy-going. I have lived for several years in shared apartments, so I am very comfortable with co-living and I always make sure to be considerate of shared spaces. At the same time, I enjoy a good balance of privacy and social interaction, and I’m happy to spend time with roommates when the atmosphere allows.
I also enjoy cooking, especially Italian food, and would be happy to share that with my future roommates from time to time. I am mainly looking for a furnished apartment or room in neighborhoods close to the Washington University Medical Campus, where I will be working.
