I am looking for a roommate to fill my second bedroom. My roommate will be moving out by April 1st and I am looking for someone to take their portion of the lease ASAP. It is a spacious apartment in Pelham Bay. There’s a large living room, dining area, kitchen, bathroom, and plenty of closets. The apartment is in a 5 story walk up on the top floor, it takes getting used to but is manageable. I am seeking an LGBTQ+ friendly roommate. I have two cats and cannot accept anyone with a dog, however more cats are always welcome! I am also looking for someone that is cleanly and keeps up with their chores. I am a 25 year old female retail worker - I keep somewhat odd hours but will respect quiet time. I am looking for someone [REDACTED] have guests and view the apartment as a safe space. The place is furnished aside from your room. It is also decorated, but with some bare walls for you to help fill! The rent is $980 monthly which includes the cost of internet. However, coned and misc items such as shared toiletries are not included in that price. I am vegan, but you don’t have to be. I just ask for division between our kitchen items if you cook with meat/dairy. I am open to compromises and am looking for someone that will help maintain the joy that I have in the apartment! The apartment has a dishwasher, great sunlight, well heated in the winter, and easy to cool down in the summer. There is already a powerful AC in the living room. Local to the 6 train, BXM8, Bx8, and more.
