I’m looking for a housemate (possibly two) to share the house I’m renting in Redwood City. If you—or someone you know—might be a good fit for both the house and me, please reach out or connect us! About the house:
It’s located on the Gem Streets, a little over a mile from downtown Redwood City.It’s a cute 1940s 3bed/1bath with a covered patio and backyard. The garage is currently set up as my furnished home office. The bedrooms aren’t huge, but they’re cozy, and the house has great shared living space. The third bedroom is currently set up as a guest room, and I occasionally host visiting friends and family. Rent is $1,700/month plus utilities, which average around $100/month.
About me: I’m a 26-year-old software engineer about to start a new job. I’ll be in the office three days a week and working from home the other days. I have a 10-pound mini dachshund mix named Polly Pocket. She can be vocal with new people, but warms up. I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, spending time with friends (both at home and out—I do host people fairly often), and going on walks with my dog. I’m happy to have the house be friendly and social or a private safe space, whatever you prefer.
