Hello! I’m looking for a roommate for the third bedroom in my home.

THE HOUSE

bath, SF - second floor of a large house (a duplex)
Gorgeous Spanish-style home with foot ceilings, wood floors, and lots of light and plants
Common areas are large - a living room, dining room, large breakfast nook, large kitchen
Dishwasher & laundry in unit; AC & heat
Grassy front yard with patio furniture, garden beds, and planting fruit trees on the sides
furnished front patio for morning coffee and reading
street parking

Vision for a Home Community: Generous and welcoming

I host get-togethers x a month
Clean and organized

We hire cleaners on a -week basis ($ per roomie each time) and ask that roommates do dishes / clean up after themselves, especially in the kitchen

Utilities:

utilities range from $/month depending on the temperature outside

What I’m Looking for in a Roommate:

Committed to open and kind communication so we can have a good roommate relationship and deal with any conflicts or misunderstandings in a respectful way
Clean in the common areas and considerate (although if you want to be totally messy in your room, completely fine!)
Non-smoker - Landlord requires no smoking. Edibles are totally fine.

Other Logistics

security deposit is 2x the rent (landlord’s req) plus first month’s rent upon move-in
Animals: I have a very sweet but sometimes spicy cat who unfortunately doesn’t play well with other animals, so you’d need to like cats, but not have your own!

Furniture: The common areas are already furnished so there isn’t room for additional furniture in those spaces. I generally rent out your room partly furnished, so there is a twin trundle bed, along with paintings/shelves etc. We can chat if you want to bring in your own furniture.
