Hi, my name is Jacob and I'm looking for roommates and a lease in the Bay Area for early-mid August. I'm originally from St. Louis and just graduated from Johns Hopkins with my BS and MSE degrees, and also played on the men's soccer team. I'm relocating to work as a research engineer in the aerospace industry. I'm looking for male roommates who are friendly, clean, responsible and want to explore the area. Some of my interests include soccer, national parks, cooking, trying new restaurants, and hopefully learning tennis after I move. I'm very clean and responsible with rent/utilities and have listed my preferences below. Please message me if you're looking for a roommate or have a room available. Happy to chat over Zoom or FaceTime! Preferred areas: Mountain View or Redwood City but open to Sunnyvale, San Mateo, Menlo Park, Santa Clara, or nearby areas with a reasonable commute to Palo Alto. Housing: Lease starting 8/15 or 8/1 with private bedroom, on- laundry, parking, and no smoking. Nice-to-haves would include a furnished room, private bathroom or EV charging. Budget: Up to $2,500/month including utilities, though ideally lower if possible.
