I am looking for a housemate who is extremely responsible, quiet, and organized—someone who values a peaceful and respectful shared living environment. My home offers stunning panoramic views and is immersed in nature, yet it is just an 8-minute downhill walk to campus, close to trails (also about 8 minutes), and 10-minute drive to downtown Berkeley. Your room includes covered parking, a safe neighborhood setting, a lovely backyard (including a private area just for you), a panoramic deck. You would have the master bedroom with a walk-in closet. We would share the bathroom. You would have access to the entire home except for my bedroom and office. The home layout includes: - A living room composed of two rooms (one is my bedroom)
- A kitchen that opens onto the deck
- Two back rooms (the masterbedroom and my office)
- A sunroom
- One bathroom The washer and dryer are in the basement and shared with two nearby units. However, the space feels very private—larger than the other units and mostly separate, aside from one shared wall and the deck. Access to the unit involves 49 steps, and the path to the steps is not well lit. Additional features: Separate heating via vents (heats quickly). You will also have an electric heater in your room so you are independent.
