It is within walking distance from College of the Desert, Public Library, and McCallum Theater. It is near Public Transportation, Civic Center Park, Golf Range, Hiking Trails, Eisenhower Medical Center, and several shopping centers and restaurants (El Paseo Shopping, Trader Joe’s, Target, Walmart Neighborhood Market etc.). It also neighbors other cities, such as Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Palm Springs, and Indio.
