Happy summer. My name is Jason G. Lange, and I am a very young years old (originally from Cali, moved to the PNW from the East Coast). I'm biracial black, and just finished teaching my first year in public school down in Corvallis. I'm a writer, a tutor/teacher, a traveller, and a vinyl DJ. I moved here initially to help a friend manage the vineyards she makes wine from—then I decided to stay and try it out (Corvallis is not the place), so now I'm ready to make a move to Portland.

I'm deeply into the arts, have always been a biker/bike commuter, and continue educating myself on conservation, climate mitigations, and land use. I care about what I put into and how I treat my body—growing my own food feels right, and cooking for others relaxes me. I'm naturally tidy, responsible, mature, mindful, and someone who gets things done. This means I am down to help out with the house: larger projects and general upkeep/cleaning. I have jobs lined up in Portland already (tutoring and very likely, the Garden Educator position with Grow Portland). Now it comes down to being the right fit in joining a new household.
