Looking for room to rent/roommates

Hi! I’m looking for roommates or rooms to rent in the Portland area, I’m planning to move by middle of winter at the latest. I’m 21 in November, I’d preferably live with women or non-straight men (for my safety). I work a lot typically from 6am to 2pm occasionally until 10 pm. I’m a certified nursing assistant and typically work 5 days a week. I’m a pretty flexible person but if we talk about possibly rooming together I’d like to meet in person to discuss boundaries, expectations, and just make sure we get on well enough. My budget is 700 a month, but I’m willing to budge depending on the situation. I do have a kitten but she is very friendly and potty trained and I can guarantee she will not be your problem or responsibility, I’ve had many cats and know how to take care of her. I have roomed with people before (since I was 17) so this wouldn’t be my first experience, and if you’d like to talk to any of them that can be arranged! I’m a pretty friendly person, I would like to occasionally have friends over but never anything crazy. I don’t really care about what you do in the space as long as it doesn’t effect me or my personal life, my biggest thing is I don’t like when people move my stuff, depending on what it is if you want to use it if you ask I’ll probably say yes, but taking and using stuff without asking will drive me up the wall. However I would not consider myself an angry drama seeking person, problems will typically just be brought up with the intention of fixing an issue before it becomes something bigger. My parents will be involved in the move-in process just for my safety! I am a young woman so finding a roommate on the internet can be a little tricky and I just want to make sure I’m in a safe environment. Thank you! Message me if you are interested
