Hi! I’m looking for a respectful, naturally quiet roommate for a private room in a neat, minimal apartment in Bed-Stuy. This would start as a 6-month sublet (can be less too if needed), with the possibility of turning into a full lease if we’re compatible. The building includes laundry, a gym, and a cycling room, and is conveniently located near the Myrtle Ave–Broadway station with plenty of nearby cafes, grocery stores, and restaurants. I’m on the spectrum and sound-sensitive, so this space is best for someone who is naturally quiet, mindful, and respectful in shared spaces. I keep an early, quieter schedule and really value a peaceful home environment that supports rest, focus, and low noise. Ideal fit: someone clean, considerate, emotionally mature, and comfortable with a calm, low-traffic household. Headphones for music/media, mindful noise levels, no loud phone calls, no slamming doors/cabinets, and no frequent guests or parties are important. Occasional guests are totally fine as long as everyone is respectful of sound. I wake up around 5 AM, so late-night cooking or loud activity would not be a good fit. The room also has limited closet space, so this is best for someone who doesn’t have too much stuff and is comfortable keeping shared areas neat and minimal.
