3BR/2Ba apartment in North Park

I am a graduate student at UCSD currently living with someone else in my program and another friend. Unfortunately, my colleague has to move out of our apartment to Europe in early June, so my friend and I are looking for another person to replace him. Our lease renews 6/1, so we are looking to fill this spot as soon as possible. The apartment has three bedrooms and two bathrooms: there is a master bedroom with its own bathroom and then two regular bedrooms with a shared bathroom. You would be living in one of the regular bedrooms. I am currently living in the other one and pay $950 a month in rent – this is what you would be as well (the current total rent is $3095 and our landlord is not raising it for the next lease). There is also a $195 lease modification fee that needs to be paid when someone joins the lease, but this can be negotiated. The apartment is quite spacious: the living room is especially large. It is located near El Cajon Blvd, and so is walking distance to a bunch of restaurants, cafes, and the main North Park streets (30th, University Ave) where all the fun stuff is. (There are also some bus stops right by the place if you need to travel a bit farther). We also have very nice in-unit washing and drying machines and a parking space available. We do not have any substantive preferences or requirements regarding who we want to room with us aside from the fact that they are reasonably quiet (at least when we are working, etc.) and respectful, basically have their stuff together, etc. As a graduate student, I need to study often, and my other roommate has two jobs. Overall, she and I are fairly private people (although we do like to go out and have fun too!). We're also very into music and have instruments in the house, so if that is your thing, you'll fit right in!
