Hi, my name is Shane.

I’m looking for a quiet, respectful living situation in a residential or edge-of-town neighborhood in Washington. I do best in homes that value order, privacy, and a calm daily rhythm, and I’m seeking a space that feels restorative rather than busy or socially demanding.

I live a steady, low-key lifestyle and am mindful of noise, shared spaces, and other people’s routines. I’m clean, reliable, and long-term oriented, and I treat a home as something to take care of, not wear down.

I have stable monthly income and also run a small Etsy business focused on Human Design. In practical terms, Human Design looks at how people function best based on energy, environment, and daily rhythm. My work involves writing, research, and digital products — no clients visiting, no foot traffic, and no noise.

Because of this work, I’m very aware of how environment affects focus, sleep, and well-being, which is why I’m intentional about housing. I do best when home is quiet, contained, predictable, and when social contact is friendly but optional, not constant.

My routine is calm and consistent. I don’t host gatherings or bring a social scene home. I value sleep, clear boundaries, and a peaceful atmosphere.

I’m a guitar player and singer, but my music practice is low-volume and respectful, often acoustic or with headphones, and only at appropriate times. Other interests include writing, psychology (I’ve completed a year of college coursework), walking, and quiet creative work.

Best fit: private room, ADU, basement unit, or small studio; quiet household; clean, well-kept home.
Not a fit: party houses, high-traffic homes, loud or irregular schedules.
