Available December 1st two bedrooms in a large sunny bath apartment in West Oakland.
Large living room, and a dining room with an open kitchen, plenty of room for furniture (current housemate is taking everything in the photos). High ceilings, kitchen has a dishwasher, there is (free) laundry in the hallway, bedrooms are on the smaller side but the common areas make up for it, there is also a large balcony directly accessible from two of the bedrooms (but not from bedroom 1). The two rooms for rent share a bathroom.

(Please ignore the mess in the photos, my current housemate is already packing and purging, this is normally a tidy place.)

Located on Peralta St in the Prescott neighborhood the house is mile from the West Oakland BART station, there are two bus lines () with stops a block and a half away, there is a weekly year round farmer’s market 4 blocks away, the Oakland Ballers ballpark is 5 blocks away, a new food hall is opening up in the next 6 months featuring a bunch of local restaurants and a taproom. This is a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood, but there are also a lot of long term residents who are friendly and make the area a nicer place.

About me: Mature gay guy with two small very friendly dogs, work from home, volunteer in the leather/kink community, like the common areas kept tidy, keep to myself but open to friendly relationships with housemates.

Sadly, no other pets are allowed.

Current housemate is relocating to NYC. We've had a cordial, respectful relationship. I’m moving into her room and taking the 2nd bath as my own (also significantly more rent for the privilege).

Per the leasing company all tenants must be on the lease, you’ll need to provide income verification and pass a credit check, they also require each tenant to have renter’s insurance, and provide proof of said insurance. One month’s security is also required.
