Hi everyone! Im looking for someone to take over my half of the lease for a townhome at 400 Davie Rd in Carrboro. It will be available Saturday, Nov 21st, 2026. Your November rent will be prorated. Beyond that, your half of the rent would be $700/month + utilities. Utilities include Electricity and Water, and run about $100-$150/month depending on the time of year. There is a security deposit of $600. The current lease runs until June 30, 2027, with an option to renew. Renewals are very affordable here. The last one only raised my half of the rent by $25 for the year lease, and thats the highest its ever been in the 5 years Ive rented here. You will have your own unfurnished room, approximately 14ft x 14ft, as well as the closet, which spans the length of one whole wall. The bathroom is shared with a tubshower combo. There is also a half bath downstairs. There is inunit laundry and a dishwasher. The townhouse is an endunit. Parking is in a lot right next to the house. The complex has a pool, open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. There is also an additional laundry room for the complex, and a large covered bike rack. There is one existing tenant, my roommate, a young woman in her 20s. When it comes to a new roommate, she is looking for someone: - Ideally 25–40; working professionals only, no undergraduate students.
