Description

Two private first-floor bedrooms are available in an owner-occupied home in Melvindale. Each room rents individually for $1,000 per month, or one person may rent both rooms for a separately negotiated price. Both rooms have hardwood floors, two windows, and a private closet. One faces the front yard and the other faces the backyard. The rooms are currently being used for storage, but all belongings will be removed and the rooms will be cleaned before move-in. Rent includes electricity, gas, water, Wi-Fi, and central air conditioning. The bathroom, living room, and kitchen are shared. The kitchen includes a gas stove, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, air fryers, and dishwasher. A washer and dryer are available in the basement 24/7 with no restricted laundry hours. The homeowner lives in a separate bedroom in the basement. Street parking is available. The home is on a corner lot with alley access and has a fenced backyard, patio area, and fire pit. The detached garage is used as a workspace and is not available for vehicle parking. The front-facing bedroom contains attic access. Any non-emergency access will be arranged at least 24 hours in advance. A written rental agreement is required with a minimum -month term. This is a non-smoking home. Pets may be considered with prior approval and require a one-time, nonrefundable $150 fee per approved pet. In-person showings are available by appointment.
