I don't *need* to live near downtown, because I work from home and an office in Byron Center, but whatever - that's where I want to live.
I would prefer a private bathroom, and rent + utilities under $1k. I have one suuuuuper scaredey cat, and have no problem living with other animals, provided they are safe with cats. I have my own bedroom furniture, and I can put the rest of my stuff in storage. (I have been living in a downtown studio the size of a large hotel room for almost 4 years now. I don't have a lot of stuff.)
