Roommate Wanted: Free Room & Board in Southwest Houston

Location: Southwest Houston (Off S. Post Oak Rd., near South Main)

Offer: Free room and board (all bills included)

Responsibilities:
Seeking a reliable roommate to assist with evening and nighttime tasks from AM, Monday through Thursday:
Help with cooking and eating dinner
Assist with getting into bed using a Hoyer lift

About Me:
I’m a research scientist at Memorial Hermann with a master’s degree in psychology. I’ve been living with quadriplegia for several years and value independence, learning, and good company. I also have an amazing 5-year-old German Shepherd who loves people!

Ideal Roommate:

Kind, empathetic, and dependable
Comfortable with or willing to learn light cooking
Open to training on using a Hoyer lift (easy to learn!)
Interested in supporting someone with paralysis

What You Get:
