1.5 room for rent in shared 3 bedroom house in Eastside Costa Mesa neighborhood close to 17th street and Newport Blvd. 6 month lease starting September 1st. Approximately 1 mile from Lido Island. The house has a driveway, large backyard, and garage. Very safe neighborhood and family friendly. Laundry is available on-sight (laundry area is only shared by two other households). There is no A/C, but typically don’t need it living this close to the beach. Rent includes private room and bathroom. Parking spot, shared guest room/spare room, full access to house/kitchen and garage. The room is 9ft by 12ft. Rent is $1500 and security deposit is $1,250 Rent doesn’t include utilities. Utilities are usually $75/ each a month that includes electricity and internet. Landlord pays for gardeners, gas, trash and water. Must love dogs (sorry no more pets) and be lgbtq+ friendly. Non-smoking in the house. No couples. Overnight guests 1-2 times a week. Roommate: My name is Cassie and my dog’s name is Koa. I’m in my late 30s and he’s 7 months old. I’m a responsible and respectful roommate. When I’m not home Koa is in his crate either in the living room or my office. I work from home, but I have an office downstairs. I also teach college at night once a week. I’ve been living here for almost 10 years and absolutely love the house. In my free time, I like to cycle, trail run and camp. During the week I keep it pretty low key because of my work schedule, but on the weekends I like to ride or run with friends and go to breweries in town. You: Someone in their late 20s or 30s who wants to live in a safe neighborhood close to the beach. Must have a full time job and pass a background check per my landlord.
