Urgently looking for 2 people to take over our lease in Jamaica Plain starting September 1 until August 31, 2027, with the option to renew next cycle. My partner and I are leaving, but our roommate is staying. Pet-friendly, great location, early move-in negotiable if you want to avoid the 9/1 rush! Landlord wants applicants to have a credit score of 650+ Costs:
Rent - $3575 per month total for the entire unit (not including utilities) It would be $1191/mo per person in an even 3-person split. (Other splits negotiable with roommate)
Move-in costs - 1 Month first month’s rent paid to landlord; $1000 last month’s rent and $750 Security deposit paid to roommates moving out. Security deposit amount is negotiable.
Utilities - around $100-150/month per person depending on the season and usage. We have Eversource for electricity, National Grid for gas (heat/hot water/cooking), and Xfinity for internet (other providers available if you want to change). About the Apartment:
3 BR 1.5 Bath, 2 rooms available with a flexible move-in time for mid-August or September 1.
Larger bedroom measures 12ft x 11ft, smaller bedroom measures 9ft x 9ft.
Pet-friendly! Neighbors have had cats and dogs; we have cats currently, but they will be moving out with us.
2nd floor of a triple decker, no elevator. There are 2 sets of stairs to get to the unit: from the street to the front door, plus the stairs from the 1st to the 2nd floor.
Close to shops and public transit! Right across from Whole Foods on Centre St, right on/near the 41 & 39 bus routes, short 10-15 minute walk to both the Stony Brook T station (0.5 miles) and Jackson Square (0.6 miles). Also a CVS, 7-11, and many restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Stop and Shop is about a 10-minute walk.
There will be no furniture in the common areas once we move out, so you are welcome to bring your own, or the roommate is willing to split costs on getting furniture for the common areas.
