I have a large completely furnished room with a queen size bedroom set, desk, TV, fridge, and A/C that I'm renting out. The rental includes all basic utilities (light, gas and heat), as well as cable and WiFi and access to kitchen. washer and dryer are available in the apartment and in the apartment complex. It's located in a private and secured apartment complex in a quiet and nice neighborhood in the Mosholu Parkway/Grand Concourse area in Norwood. It's a nice, clean, and secured environment. It's conveniently located near various means of public transportation. Its near the #4 (Lexington avenue Line) subway train, the D (Sixth avenue line) Express subway train that (takes you into midtown Manhattan in 25-35 minutes), a 10 minute bus ride on the #1 and #10 MTA bus lines to the #1 (Broadway line) subway train, the Metro North train, the Manhattan Express Bus and various bus lines including the Westchester County bus lines that gets you into Westchester County Yonkers Cross County Plaza/Mall as well as the Empire Casino in 15 minutes. It's also 10 minutes from the Henry Hudson Parkway/West side Highway to Manhattan and (I-87) Deegan Expressway. The apartment complex is right on Mosholu Parkway. It's surrounded by green areas, parks, sports fields, park benches, picnic areas, and bike paths (there's a City Bike Station right in front of apartment complex). It's located near Van Cortlandt Park, the Botanical Garden, and the Bronx Zoo. Its close to the neighborhood shopping district where you'll find stores, banks, two US Post Offices, supermarkets, restaurants and two major hospitals (Montefiore Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital), Fordham University, Lehman College, Manhattan College, College of Mount Saint Vincent among others, and the Fordham Road Shopping District. It's great for students and medical staff. You would need one month's rent and one month's security. Couples welcome for an additional fee. No smoking allowed in the apartment.
