Charlottesville, VA: summer sublet (May/June-July 31) — 4 BD, 2 BR home — $1100–$1450 per room/month (or $3,650/month for whole home) Perfect for nurses, residents, fellows, summer researchers, and grad students. My partner and I are moving states as I wrap up with law school. We're looking to sublease June through July 31. Available as early as mid-May (~5/20 but flexible). The place: 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. 1,998 sq ft. with big yard, tree swing, big storage basement, and private off-road parking. Can come furnished/unfurnished. Whole home rent: $3,650 total/month for the whole home. This is how much we pay currently, but if this is a nonstarter, let's discuss. Rent for each room (if listed, still available):
- Room 1: $1100 per month - fits one king bed, with sliding door closet, built in bookshelf and storage nook; has one large window
- Room 2: $1250 per month - fits one king bed, with double door closet plus room for vanity and working desk; has one large window
- Room 3: $1300 per month - fits one king bed, with sliding door closet plus room for vanity and working desk; has three medium windows
- Room 4: $1450 per month - fits one king bed, with private master full bathroom plus walk-in closet with storage; has four medium windows Utilities: Roughly $250 a month for internet, water, power, and AC. We can discuss full or partial utilities fee coverage by us if this would sweeten the deal. Location: Coveted Lewis Mountain neighborhood and adjacent to UVA Grounds — 3 minutes from UVA Medical Center, UVA Law, and main grounds. 10 minutes from Amtrak train station. 5 minutes or less to three grocery stores (walking distance to Foods of All Nations). Amenities: Central A/C, Dishwasher, LG refrigerator/freezer, full kitchen, full washer and dryer in the basement, off-road private parking, tree swing.
