FAIRFAX roommate needed! GMU

Hey there! I'm looking for a responsible roommate as my current one is moving out. This is a 6 month lease rental agreement as the rent will change in January 2027. For some reason, the app isn’t uploading a picture of the room itself so just message me.

The apartment is of average size with a decent kitchen, living area and side dining room. First floor, entrance from the patio leading in from a front yard. Two hall closets and one in the bedroom.

One reserved parking spot and one guest spot. There is a pool available to the residents. Communal coin laundry and small storage space right across from our door.

About 2 miles from central GMU campus on Main st. Super close to a direct bus line down Little River / Main. About 1 mile from Safeway and Trader Joe's.

Rent due first of the month directly to landlord via Zelle. The landlord is very nice and answers to requests for maintenance promptly. $40 for Wifi and average $30-50 for electrical per month directly to me.

I'm 43, male and keep to myself but wouldn't classify myself as an introvert. I work from home as a documentary editor / producer and I work part time for an elementary aged afterschool program. I'm tidy and have lived with all types of roommates my whole adult life, but prefer people that are open minded. That is to say, I know how to live communally and without conflict. I'm not a partier so I would prefer a drug and alcohol free home. If you're into DIY / punk ideology, even better.
