My original roommate-to-be just got engaged and is moving in with her fiancé, so I’m looking for someone to take her spot. The floor plan in the picture is the exact unit we were about to rent. She planned to pay $700/mo while I covered rent, utilities, and internet, but if you’d rather split everything evenly, that’s totally fine, we just don’t know the electric or internet cost yet.
We had simple house expectations: she would take out the trash, clean up after ourselves, and maybe share a meal now and then. I’m flexible on chores and routines.For her taking out trash I was to buy paper towels and the trash bags. The place has garden soaking tubs and separate bedrooms/bathrooms. I work days and PC game at night, and I mostly keep to myself unless you want company. I rarely have overnight visitors.
I’m open-minded and respectful, your identity, pronouns, or orientation don’t matter to me, and I avoid discussions about politics and religion. I’m an older guy, laid-back, and not into nonsense. Guests are welcome as long as they’re considerate; if someone starts staying over constantly, we’d just chat about it. The $150 fee listed is $75 for my second applicant and half the administration fee. lease would be 12-14 months. If you would want shorter we can discuss the cost difference but shortest least is 6 months and would raise your share to $900/mo to give you an idea.
