Hello!

My name is JP, I'm , queer, and looking for a room to rent! My budget is ~$k, but lower is totally a-ok. 😅

I am currently in Minneapolis--turns out I sometimes make bad decisions based on the musculature of another man--and it is absolutely eating my soul. I moved here from NYC, but grew up in Delaware, and lived in CC Philly in my s.

I was recently laid off, but have savings and UI, and I am happy(-ish) to show my bank balance if it gets to that. Moving back across the country is not exactly frugal--I'll be putting almost everything in storage here until it can Be Handled--but please re: Minneapolis, soul-eating.

An ideal place would be month-to-month or a short-term lease, and in a very walkable area. I have a glorious handful of TBIs from conversion therapy as a kid, which included electroshock treatments, and being in a car for longer than ~ten minutes is bad news bears.

About me: Senior Project Manager in IT/healthcare/finance/organizational management by day (er, usually), and playwright, photographer, event producer, LARPer, forever DM, burlesque performer, and strategy consultant for adult content creators by night/ mid-afternoon. I have a strong sense of fairness, and am generally a direct (NOT blunt) communicator (neither of these do well in the Midwest, ope, sorry, let me just get by ya).

When I'm not experiencing existential and economic dread, I am producing a yearly Mr. Himbo Pageant, Mythpop parties (they combine two or more things to make a theme, ex.: Buffy and Mean Girls, "On Wednesdays, We Slay"), and Arcana Profana (part cabaret, part game show, it'sawholething).
