Hi, my name is Michael. I am a forty year old professional who lives with my girlfriend. We are looking for a roommate who would have their own bathroom as well access to all other rooms in the apartment as well as washer and dryer in the complex. The room is in Carlsbad a few blocks from the beach and quick walk into The Village. The monthly rent is hundred and fifty dollars, does not include utilities and the room is available on April 1st. We are ideally looking for a mature professional who is clean (but not anal), laid back, pays bills on time, healthy lifestyle, no drugs, doesn't smoke or drink (occassionally fine), has a sense of humor and isn't too political left or right. You would be living with a couple who has lived here together for sometime now so hope you understand it would be kind of entering our space. Don't want to come across that we aren't open to welcoming you but we have been used to having our place this way for sometime now, don't want an aggressive or passive aggressive type of personality coming into our space. Ideally you would be bringing in furniture only for your room and bathroom no space to allow other furniture in the place. In addition the place is too small to welcome in another couple so it would be just for one person so please don't ask. We think we are a great couple to live with who tries to connect with our roommate and make it a little more than just a roommate situation. We also have both had enough "crazy" roommates in our past to know it's important to be clear of what we expect, otherwise it can turn into a nightmare for everyone involved.
