The townhouse has several amenities including: a huge kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, free parking and attached parking pad, a walk-in closet, and a finished basement. You would have the biggest bedroom that has beautiful high ceilings, tons of lighting, white walls, a TV mount, and an attached full bathroom (with a tub!). There is central heat and AC window units that are very effective in the Maryland heat! The house has 3 floors, top floor being bedrooms and the walk-in closet, main floor being the shared living room and kitchen alongside a guest bathroom, and a finished basement with an attached laundry room. The house is right next to the park and several bus lines. Street parking is ample and free!The 1 other roommate is a 22 year old woman working in education and in graduate school who is very social, responsible, clean, timely, and often out of the house.This would be a February move in at the earliest and the lease runs until August with ability to renew. The property manager and landlord very chill and responsive. Rent is $1057.50/ month + utilities.

I am looking for a quiet, respectful, and responsible housemate to share this affordable bath rowhome, about blocks from Patterson Park, starting January 1st (but earlier move-in possible!) for a 1 year (negotiable) lease. I prefer to live with women, but am open to other gender identities. Rent is as listed and a security deposit of same is due upon signing. All utilities would be shared. I have the smaller back bedroom and the bathroom is shared on that floor. However, there is a full finished bathroom in the basement as well, which is semi-finished (currently with a work-out space, laundry/storage), so bathroom sharing/getting ready has never been an issue. About me: I'm an Adult Ed teacher and teach half the week outside of the home but also teach a few remote courses at home as well. The coming semester starting end of January, I will most likely be out of the house for in-person teaching 4 days a week. I've lived in the Patterson Park area for several years, love it, and have developed roots here. I like to have a peaceful quiet home and keep common areas nice enough, though I'm not super uptight about it and simply enjoy cleaning and tidying when I can. That being said, I am a pretty quiet person otherwise and am happy to try to accommodate any noise I might make around my housemate’s schedule. In my free time I love watching tv and movies, playing video games, and cooking. I also travel often. As far as social dynamic goes, when I’m home I’m happy to either hang out or just keep to ourselves, so we can talk about what that might look like for everyone.
