Engineer looking for 5ish mo. room

Description

Hello my name is Luke and I'm looking for a room within a couple miles of downtown Raleigh for a work rotation until June (roughly). I've been described as easygoing and an old soul. I've found all I need to live is kind people and a clean environment.

I'm not a clean freak but have lived in some pretty gross places in the past and I've found my mental health really thrives when I don't have to worry about roaches/clogged drains/mold/etc.

I work as an engineer for the state and am currently on a rotational program. I'm currently scheduled to end my Raleigh rotation in June but that might be extended or slightly shortened. I'm happy to talk more about that and how the lease would look.

My life partner lives in Charlotte with our 2 cats and a lot of my stuff so I am in Charlotte most weekends. Outside of work I do volleyball and dance at the YMCA and go to therapy so I'm not home a lot but when I am I cook a few times a week and generally relax the rest of the time.

Ideal room would be close to downtown Raleigh (at the minimum within I- and ideally within I-), with nice people that value communication, cleanliness, and kindness. Budget could go up a bit for the perfect fit.
