Apartment in Emeryville

Description

I’m looking for a housemate for an apartment at th and Herzog beginning September 1st!  

The room is approximately ’ and has laminate wood flooring, a large window and a closet. It has a lovely bamboo forest outside and gets beautiful indirect lighting during the day. The walls are two shades of green, which you’re welcome to keep or repaint. 

In addition to rent the utilities (internet and PGE) are generally $ish summer, $ish winter. The landlord requires a one-time fee for a background check, plus one month's rent for security deposit. The apartment is rent-controlled, so rent goes up ~3%/year in July. 

The apartment is very centrally located.  It’s a mile away from Ashby Bart and Berkeley Bowl West.  We have good access to public transit! 5 minute walk to bus stops for the M, minute walk to bus stops for the the minute drive to the Ashby exit of I- minutes to .  It’s a pretty and quiet neighborhood with lots of flowers and birds, and a couple walkable parks!

There’s a large shared bathroom with ample storage available, the kitchen is well stocked with a full-size fridge, electric stove/oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, pantry closet, as well as a comfortable living room (that gets beautiful direct sun during the day). There’s an app/coin-op laundry in the building (landlord put in new machines a year ago). Lots of stage in the apartment and a small storage unit in the building. 

Large yard! Neighbors and some past housemates have done gardening in raised beds, and you’re welcome to, as well!.  There’s a large big fig tree, a fire pit and patio furniture and a small raised be garden.
