Hi, my name is Alissa. I am a 47-year old professional. I am looking for a roommate. The room is in Jenks. The monthly rent is $500 and the room is available [edit: soon not immediately] Sorry! I thought this was a draft still!!! I didn't mean to post yet and also I don't have the paid app to read yet. I haven't moved into the rental (eta 2 weeks). I'm not entirely sure there will be enough space to rent out a room and also I might not be able to due to pending divorce/ child custody stuff. If I do, I will upgrade and be able to read/respond to any that have been sent thus far. The property mgmt said I can have roommates, but it's $145 for application and background check fees. Sorry for the confusion! I also want to set realistic expectations. My kids can be loud and create a lot of clutter (toys/paper). Mostly sibling drama and because they're neurodivergent, they don't always talk at normal volume, especially when jostling each other for my attention or excited about the topic of conversation. They're in school full time and go to bed between 8-10 pm. We usually wake around 6:30 am to get ready for school (long commute) and they would be home around 4 pm. I also have a boy cat who can be a loud a-hole when his food dish gets a hole eaten in it. He drools too (knocked out a bunch of teeth being stupid when he was younger - his vet bills are part of why I'm in debt). I wouldn't want guests over because I have young kids and there are too many p3dos and folks with anger/impulse control/rejection issues. That might be a deal breaker for roommates who would want to date or have friends by. But I'm not willing to risk having to put someone who hurt my babies in the ground. OK is a capital punishment state after all. Anyways, just elaborating so that if I do have a room available y'all know what you're getting into.
