Sublet wanted for german intern

Hi everyone, My name is Johanna, I am a 28-year old law graduate from Germany, and I am moving to Charlotte for a threemonth legal internship at a local GermanAmerican law firm. I am currently looking for a room to sublet from January 1 through March 31, 2027. This internship marks the final stage of my legal clerkship before I return to Germany to finish my training and start practicing as an attorney. Because I will be relying on public transit, I am looking for a room in a central neighborhood—such as Uptown, South End, Dilworth, or NoDa—or in an area with a direct and efficient public transportation connection. Ideally, my daily commute should take no longer than 30 to 40 minutes doortodoor. My maximum budget for monthly rent is $900. As an experienced flatmate, I am clean, organized, reliable, and very easygoing. I deeply respect others' personal space and quiet times, but I also enjoy a friendly chat, a shared coffee, or a meal with roommates. In my free time, I love exploring new neighborhoods, going hiking, listening to true crime podcasts, spending time with friends, and enjoying local cultural events. Traveling and discovering new places is one of my biggest passions, which is why I am so excited to call Charlotte my temporary home.
