Vegan Collective House

Description

Hi! We are a collective household of vegans with varied backgrounds and interests, living together in a fun, inclusive, and supportive space. Our home also includes a lovely gecko and several fishes, who are also part of the collective. We’re looking for two new housemates to join us starting March 1st on a month-to-month basis, but the dates can be flexible.

The available rooms are spacious and unfurnished with hardwood floors and windows that let in a lot of light. Our house is located near Granville and st Ave, with Kerrisdale just a minute walk or a short bus ride away, with plenty of grocery stores, cafes, and other conveniences. The house features a big, well-equipped kitchen, living room, dining room, two shared washrooms (and two ensuites in other rooms) and a beautiful large backyard for relaxing, gardening, or hanging out.

As a household, we value flexibility but also enjoy communal efforts like sharing chores, holding monthly roommate meetings, and organizing occasional hangouts such as potlucks, workshops, or movie nights. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly, sex-positive, and diversity-supporting household, and we’re looking for someone who shares these values (along with the vegan lifestyle), is a good communicator, and is comfortable with collective living.

We are also open to short-term arrangements (a couple of months) if it feels like the right fit. If this resonates with you, we’d love to hear more about you and what excites you about joining our household!
