Iowan guy needs to rent a room

Hi! My name is Robert, and Im a deaf, gay man in my late 40s who is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL). Im currently in Council Bluffs, Iowa. My new job as Deaf Program Director in Danvers, Massachusetts that will start in January 2027. Im looking for a comfortable room to rent where I can feel at home. Im happy to communicate through text, written notes, or ASL if you know it. Im a clean, responsible, and respectful person, and I can provide excellent references from my previous landlords. Im comfortable living with dogs and cats, too! Im ideally looking for a room for one to six months, with the possibility of staying longer if were a good fit. More than anything, I hope to find a welcoming home where we can get along, respect one another, and feel comfortable sharing the space, almost like family. I believe in being considerate and following household rules. Im happy to take responsibility for keeping shared spaces clean. I will clean the bathroom every Saturday and always clean up the kitchen after using it. My budget is $1,000 per month, including utilities, and I can pay a security deposit equal to half of one months rent. I would truly appreciate the opportunity to rent a room in your home.
