Looking for 1-2 apartment

Hello all, I'm looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment/house for me and my mother Preferably in the Northern Nassau area (Bayville, Oyster Bay, westbury, hicksville, mineola, etc). My mother is currently on DSS and they will cover some of the rental and I will be covering the remaining amount. I am a Medical Assistant I work 16 hour shifts and work part time at as a receptionist at a hair salon. I won't be home most of the time and mom is a very quiet person. Preferably pets ok? Looking to purchase a dog in the near future. Our living situation hasn't been ideal for the past 3 years when my father passed away. We are very clean friendly people. We only have 1 vehicle.
