Hi! I’m looking to sublease my apartment at Vermella Harrison — it’s a really spacious 1 bed, 1 bath (about 750 sq ft) with a full living room, kitchen, and in-unit laundry. You can take it furnished or unfurnished depending on what you prefer. The location is honestly one of the best parts. I was a student at Rutgers Newark and used to commute in every day — it’s super easy. You’re a 2 minute walk to the PATH, about 3 minutes to Newark Penn (where the Rutgers bus runs), and around 20 minutes into the World Trade Center. It’s also a much nicer and safer area compared to Newark, and there’s actually a lot to do right here. There are a bunch of restaurants nearby, plus you’re literally right above a restaurant and an açai place, and there’s a kickboxing studio right next door which is really convenient. The lease would be from June 2026 through February 2027, and there’s flexibility to extend if needed. Rent is $2600 plus utilities. The building has great amenities too — 24 hour doorman and security, a full gym, pool, rooftop, grills, outdoor fireplace, and even a yoga studio.
