I’m looking for a roommate for my extra room in a newly rented 2-bedroom apartment. The room is move-in ready and comes furnished with:
New bed frame + new dresser
Used mattress (clean and in good condition)
Brand-new office desk
Brand-new office/gaming chair
32” TV in the room
Brand-new nightstand
The apartment also has shared spaces that are fully set up:
Nice living room with a brand-new 65” Samsung OLED TV
4-seat dining table
Fully equipped kitchen (air fryer, electric stove, espresso coffee machine, and more)
Entertainment
Entertainment is available in both the bedroom and the living room TVs. I have subscriptions to: Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, Max (HBO), Apple TV+, Prime Video, Disney+, and YouTube.
Building & amenities
The building is quiet, has off-street parking, and includes a pool and a gy[REDACTED]ow plowing and landscaping are handled by the property management. About the Roomies
I’m a mechanical/aerospace engineer with a strong software background, and I work for Pratt & Whitney. I work remotely most of the time, but occasionally I’m required to be on- in East Hartford or Middletown.
I’m a calm, respectful, and quiet person who keeps to himself and prefers a peaceful home environment. I’m not into partying at home, and I’m looking for a roommate who feels the same.
One important note: I don’t drink alcohol and I can’t be around pork, so I’m looking for someone who can respect that in the home (no alcohol and no pork in the apartment). If that works for you, we’ll get along great.
